- This product was developed by Ronan for situations where you need a true
"dead" flat clear finish. It measures less than a
2 degree sheen when properly applied. Perfect for special situations and
effects. With it's UV additive, this product is a real problem solver.

RONAN WATER BASED GLAZING MEDIUM
- Forget all the negatives you've heard about water based
glazes. The folks at Ronan Color have come up with a formula that has almost all
the qualities of oil based glazes in terms of open time, "wipability" and hang.
Choose from 3 formulations depending on the open time and effect you need. Product can be
tinted with artist water colors, universal tinting colors, our
ViviTone
or
Mixol colorants. Once dry, product can be
top-coated with our water based topcoats. Apply by brush or rag.

Deluxe
Glaze - General purpose sprayable glaze with 30 -60 minute open time.
Ultra Glaze - Thicker consistency than Deluxe for
better "hang" or detail accentuation (photo left)
Long Set - Longest open time - good for dry
conditions - can be used as a retarder for deluxe and ultra.

Superfine Japan Colors are flat, quick drying colors that are superior to any
Japan Colors on the market. Japan
Colors are pure concentrated pigments in a Japan (oil varnish) vehicle.
They excel in purity, tone uniformity, strength and fineness of grind.
Use them for tinting varnishes, lacquers, heavy bodied glazing stains,
paints, etc. Not for water base or shellac.
Can also be used for decorative painting techniques under lacquer or
varnish. They work beautifully for striping, graining, stenciling, lettering &
faux painting. Offered
in 13 colors in 8 oz. (1/2 pint) metal cans.
