The “Golden Hammer” Writing Awards program is annually
sponsored by
Vaughan & Bushnell, a leading manufacturer of quality hammers and other
hand tools. The NAHWW, with membership of more than 100 writers, columnists,
editors, publishers and authors, is pledged to advancing the professionalism
of the home improvement and do-it-yourself writing field.
The “Golden Hammers” are awarded for excellence in
each of three categories: Books, Feature Articles and Photography. In
addition to cash prizes, first place winners in each category are provided
with tools from competition sponsor, Vaughan and Bushnell, to donate to an
industrial arts school of their choice in their community.
